Installed in horizontal layers between wall courses and extending into the soil behind a wall, geogrid stabilizes the soil and so increases a wall system's mass and stability. Depending on site conditions and wall height, retaining walls often require soil reinforcement. Geogrid is a geosynthetic material, made of polymers, that is used to reinforce soil behind retaining walls. Installed in horizontal layers between wall courses and extending into the soil behind a wall, geogrid stabilizes the soil and so increases a wall system's mass and stability.

 

Product Features

Ecological balance Usually retaining walls are constructed of reinforced concrete, if an impermeable surface is not desired, it would be a sensible solution to create a filling area (but not for dam constructions). Choosing the ground reinforced with geogrid reinforcements instead of reinforced concrete retaining wall will also contribute to the ecological balance.
